URGENT: Holding $100k+ hostage & Unfair Leverage Reduction!
Account 23787116. I have over $100,000 in my account. Moneta Markets suddenly froze my account, blocked withdrawals, and maliciously reduced my leverage from 1:500 to 1:20 to force a Margin Call while I have open positions. They put me on ""Close Only"" mode. I have submitted all KYC videos they asked for in ticket 123490, but they are using copy-paste delay tactics and ignoring me right before the weekend. I am reporting them to the FSCA South Africa. BEWARE! [UPDATE May 4, 2026]: Moneta Marketsβ reply is misleading. The email they provided does NOT resolve the issue nor does it provide any valid legal grounds for withholding my initial deposits. I have since reviewed their own Client Agreement (March 2026). According to their own clauses (5.5(d)(iv) and 1.4(b)(iv)), any penalty for suspected ""trading violations"" is strictly limited to the cancellation of profits, not the seizure of a clientβs raw deposited capital. I have zero profits; they are currently holding my $100,000+ initial deposit hostage without any contractual right to do so. Furthermore, I have video evidence that their Thai-language website contains broken/fake legal links, preventing Thai clients from reading these terms before signing. I will not be silenced by standard copy-paste support replies. I demand the immediate return of my initial capital. My complaint with the FSCA (South Africa) is moving forward.
