Trying to get my money out like trying to get blood out of a stone. Investments are easy to set up but make sure you don’t want your money back in a hurry.
Litany of mistakes, geriatric processes and left hand never talking to right hand has consumed days and days of time. Having dealt with all kinds of other financial institutions, none of them come close to the incompetence of this one. No wonder they’re inundated with complaints.

Moneta Markets suddenly froze my account, blocked withdrawals, and maliciously reduced my leverage from 1:500 to 1:20 to force a Margin Call while I have open positions. They put me on “Close Only” mode. I have submitted all KYC videos they asked for in ticket 123490, but they are using copy-paste delay tactics and ignoring me right before the weekend. I am reporting them to the FSCA South Africa. BEWARE!

Moneta Markets’ reply is misleading. The email they provided does NOT resolve the issue nor does it provide any valid legal grounds for withholding my initial deposits.

According to their own clauses (5.5(d)(iv) and 1.4(b)(iv)), any penalty for suspected “trading violations” is strictly limited to the cancellation of profits, not the seizure of a client’s raw deposited capital. I have zero profits; they are currently holding my $100,000+ initial deposit hostage without any contractual right to do so.
Furthermore, I have video evidence that their Thai-language website contains broken/fake legal links, preventing Thai clients from reading these terms before signing.
I will not be silenced by standard copy-paste support replies. I demand the immediate return of my initial capital. My complaint with the FSCA (South Africa) is moving forward.

In one instance, a correct OTP was rejected, and in a subsequent attempt, the transaction was processed without any OTP request at all. This is a massive cybersecurity red flag.
2. Execution Failures & Lot-Size Manipulation: After achieving profits, my platform settings were internally altered. My default lot size was shifted to 5.00 lots without my consent, leading to a $92,000 loss in seconds. The firm previously admitted to “”customized lot size”” and “”floating trade volume for all clients,”” yet they now refuse to take responsibility.
3. Punitive Retaliation: Following my formal complaints, the firm unilaterally increased my Stop-Out level from 10% to 50% without notice, intentionally forcing the liquidation of my active positions. Also they prevent me from any future bonuses.
I have already escalated this case to the BVI Financial Services Commission (FSC), providing forensic video evidence of the security breach.

First of all, they allow crypto deposits, but there is NO crypto withdrawal option available. This creates a serious issue for clients like me.
The only withdrawal options provided are bank wire and e-wallets. Bank withdrawal has already failed in my case due to local banking restrictions, causing delays, stress, and unnecessary SWIFT charges. I had to wait for weeks without receiving my funds.
On top of that, I have been emailing their support team for the past 3–4 weeks, but I still haven’t received any reliable or practical solution. Responses are slow and mostly generic.
Because of this, I am currently unable to withdraw funds smoothly, and this has negatively affected both my trading and confidence in the platform.
Previously, everything was smooth, but now withdrawals have become a major issue.
Due to this situation, I am also unable to confidently refer clients anymore.

I experienced repeated and abnormal slippage across multiple trades, even during normal market conditions with no major news or volatility that could justify such execution.
Here are some examples:

– Order #210166712: Slippage ≈ 240 pips

This clearly shows a pattern, not a one-time issue.
What is even more frustrating is the customer support. Their responses were generic, unhelpful, and did not address the core issue. They simply repeated standard explanations about “market execution” without providing any real investigation, tick data, or accountability.
For a broker that advertises tight execution and minimal slippage, this is unacceptable.
I strongly suspect serious issues with execution quality, pricing, or liquidity, and possibly manipulation, given the consistency of these incidents across different times.
I requested a full investigation and compensation, but so far, no meaningful response.
Traders should be very cautious.
Until this is properly resolved, I cannot recommend Exness.
